BigTime creative shop won the award in the Outstanding Promotional Announcement category.

BigTime Creative Shop has received a Sports Emmy® Award for Outstanding Promotional Announcement at the 45th Annual Sports Emmy® Awards presented by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) – a win BigTime says marks the first time a Middle East and Africa-based creative shop has taken home the honour.

The award was for Obsession – Usyk 2 Fury Reignited, a stylised promotional film created for Riyadh Season’s highly anticipated boxing rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury. The film was conceptualised by BigTime, directed by French collective Megaforce, and produced by Riff Raff Films.

BigTime Creative Shop named Independent Entertainment Agency of the Year at Cannes

The Saudi-born agency leads the region with seven Lions, including two Golds in Entertainment for Sport.

BigTime Creative Shop has made a historic mark at this year’s Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, becoming the first independent agency from the region to be named Independent Entertainment Agency of the Year. The recognition cements BigTime’s rising global status and highlights the growing influence of Saudi-born agencies on the international stage.

Usyk v Fury 2: AI fourth judge to be trialled in Oleksandr Usyk v Tyson Fury heavyweight rematch in Riyadh

Turki Alalshikh, chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, announced the innovation in a post on X, and confirmed that it “won’t impact the official results”.

“For the first time ever, an AI-powered judge will monitor the fight. Free from bias and human error brought to you by The Ring. This groundbreaking experiment, which won’t impact the official results, debuts during the biggest fight of the century”
